Gathering at a quayside cafe, several Sisters availed themselves of the opportunity to take on sustenance before embarking on their expedition to the Taronga Zoo.
As advertised, the annual Zoo Walk goes ahead rain, hail and shine and this year's walk, hosted by the Sydney Sisters of the Order of Perpetual Indulgence was no exception. With grey skies above, a group of Sydney Sisters and some visiting Sisters from the West and South were joined by a small group of followers to be whisked across our beautiful harbour aboard one of our fabulous harbour ferries, destination... The Zoo!
Though at times huddled under umbrellas and plastic rain coats dampened by the rains, visitors and Sisters never-the-less enjoyed their informative and sometimes slightly twisted perambulation of the zoo exploring the delights of both native and exotic flora and fauna.. and oh those keepers!
