Tulip Time Festival - Bowral
Saturday 23rd September 2017

Today Mother Premonstratensia, Sister Rowena Keeper of the Holy Doily, and Mother Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation II accompanied by the webdog, ventured forth on an expedition beyond the city boundaries to the open countryside of the Southern Highlands to taste the delights of the 57th annual Tulip Time Festival in the picturesque country town of Bowral.

From its beginnings in 1961 with just 500 tulips on show, the festival has grown to have over 110,000 tulips planted in the Corbett Gardens and other public spaces around the region.  The Sisters enjoyed a delightful perambulation of the gardens much to the amusement and delight of the gathered faithful.
