This year’s annual Living History Walk, hosted by the Sisters and accompanied by renowned historian, activist and '78er' Robert French
(Saint Robert of the Rainbow Chronicles), took the Gathered Faithful on a walking tour of Kings Cross.
What a wonderfully successful walk it was too with the Sisters joined by more than seventy members of the Gathered Faithful who braved the elements to meet at the El Elemein Fountain in Fitzroy Gardens to get a brief glimpse into the gay history of the area from Kings Cross to Taylor Square. The Great Mother Dingo even managed to provide unusually good weather for the duration of the walk.
At the conclusion of the walk Saint Robert joined Sister Salomé of the 9th Mystic Rhinestone, and Novice Mistress Sister Rowena Keeper of the Holy Doyley in retiring to Oxford Hotel for libations and sustenance.
