Urn and Home Blessing

Saturday 27th January 2024

On Friday January 26th Sister Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation II and Sister Catheter of the Sacred Immaculate Ejaculate travelled from their respective Mid North Coast convents to the northern parts of New South Wales to Sparkle Manor, on the banks of the Clarence River. They were accompanied by their husbands, St WD (4.0) (Saint Wonder The Webdog) and Rodrick.

The formal proceedings at Sparkle Manor began with a welcome from Lord Xavier followed by a High Tea, on the Saturday afternoon. This was followed by a double blessing conducted by Sister CPRII and Sister Catheter blessing the Urn containing the ashes of the late Lord Alan, and at the same time a blessing of the home he shared with his husband Lord Xavier. After the blessing the afternoon proceeded with speeches by friends of the couple sharing memories of Lord Alan.

At the conclusion of the formal proceedings the Sisters were asked to receive into their care a painting which had once formed part of an art exhibition by James Rose titled ‘The Thrill of the Habit’ held in February and March of 1993. The Painting, a portrait of Mother Tepuia Lascivious Honey Bear of the Scarlet Sphincter had been gifted to Lord Alan following the exhibition and it was the wish of Lord Xavier that the Sisters hold the painting until it is added to an archival collection.

Later substantial canapés were served along with suitable libations, the music was cranked up and a party to celebrate their lives and love together ensued.
