Zoo Walk 2024 - Taronga Zoo

Start the day with a relaxing ferry ride on beautiful Sydney Harbour and then spend the day exploring the delights of our native flora and fauna, our keepers and volunteers, as the Sisters take you on an informative and sometimes slightly twisted wander through the beautiful grounds of Taronga Zoo.
Keep a look out for the Sisters who will also be gathering at the wharf.
Alternatively you can make your own way there and meet us inside the main gate, Bradleys Head Road Mosman by 9:45 for a 10:00am start.
Parking is available at Taronga Zoo car park.

Once Inside we will be greeted by Zoo Guides and Keepers and subject to the availability of suitable animals there is likely to be some Australian fauna that can be gently petted (under supervision, of course), or observed in the arms of their keepers before beginning the guided walk.
At midday you'll experience the amazing bird show which has as its backdrop, the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and the city of Sydney.
At the conclusion of this show the Sisters thank the volunteers and collect donations for the zoo.
At this point there can be an opportunity to explore a vocation with the Sisters over lunch!
It is always recommended by the Sisters that you continue your own perambulation of the zoo as there is so much to explore.
Wear sensible shoes, bring water, sunscreen, be prepared for the weather and of course bring a sense of humour!
