The Sydney Sisters of the Order of Perpetual Indulgence are pleased to announce the ascension of Novice Sister Ophelia Ring to the Black Veil.
On the 13th January 2024 a Black Veiling ceremony was held to elevate Novice Sister Ophelia Ring to a fully professed Black Veil Sister of the Order.
Novice Mistress Sister Rowena Keeper of the Holy Doyley, Sister Salomé of the 9th Mystic Rhinestone, Sister Eileen Dover of The Double Cross and Novice Sister Beefcake Tender Loins,
gathered at the Pissoir (the cast iron outdoor urinal) underneath the Harbour Bridge at The Rocks to perform the Ceremony.
Although somewhat disappointing that the council scaffolding remains in place surrounding the structure, it was indeed a joyous event not held by the Sisters since the profession of Sister Catheter of the Sacred Immaculate Ejaculate in 2018.
Following the ceremony the Sisters gathered at the Harbour View Hotel for flowing libation and nibbly bites.
