Zoo Walk 2024

Taronga Zoo

Thursday 29th February 2024

Another great success and thoroughly enjoyable day in spite of the heat and humidity!

The Sisters had over 20 Gathered Faithful meet at Circular Quay, from UK, USA, Canada, and Victoria, Queensland, ACT, and of course NSW. We were also thrilled to welcomed a number of amazing people with mobility challenges.

After a frivolous ferry ride to the Zoo, and a bus ride to the top entrance, the Sisters were met by Lee and Ryan, our most gracious Keepers, and six inspiring volunteers.

The Order was amply represented by Sister Rowena Keeper Of The Holy Doyley, Sister Salomé of the 9th Mystic Rhinestone, Sister Eileen Dover of The Double Cross, Novice Sister Arse Licked and Old Lace and Novice Sister Beefcake TenderLoins

The weather was hot and humid but beneath their ample Habits the Sisters all maintained a cool demeanour. The Gathered Faithful along with the Sisters enjoyed a tour of a few of the Zoo's newest exhibits including the Australian Exhibit and a shady wander through a tropical enclosure.
