Sister Rowena Keeper of the Holy Doyley and Sister Ophelia Ring were delighted to attend the opening of the Inner West Pride centre which is located in the Newtown Town Hall.
The Pride Centre is the first in NSW after the closure of the PRIDE Sydney Lesbian and Gay Community Centre in Erskineville in 2007 and follows a renovation to upgrade and modernise the facilities and spaces in the historic Newtown Town Hall offering support services and community
spaces for LGBTQI+ people.
